Exa4mind – Extreme Analytics for Mining Data spaces

Data Week 2025 took place as a two-day physical event in Athens, Greece, on 27–28 May. Organised by BDVA and hosted by Comoste – OTE, the theme of Data Week 2025 was ‘Odyssey of AI: Navigating the Data Seas’, focusing on the fundamental elements of data value creation. As part of the DataNexus Cluster, EXA4MIND was present at the conference.

On 28 May, the DataNexus Cluster hosted a session entitled ‘Extreme Data-Driven Solutions and Services: Updated Perspectives and Challenges for Europe’. This workshop showcased how five projects from the DataNexus cluster — Graph-Massivizer, NearData, EMERALDS, EXTRACT and EXA4MIND — along with the ExtremeXP project under the AI.BIG initiative, tackle extreme data challenges to have a societal, economic, industrial and research impact. Attendees gained valuable insights into solutions for dealing with data heterogeneity, quality and interoperability in high-performance computing (HPC), cloud and edge computing environments. Stephan Hachinger from the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ) represented EXA4MIND as a speaker.

The EXA4MIND team was proud to take part in this collaborative event, where we shared our progress and learnt from fellow innovators who are committed to reshaping the future of data in Europe and beyond.
