EXA4MIND project showcased at the ITS European Congress 2023
The 15th ITS European Congress took place in Lisbon from 19 to 22 June 2023 under the theme “ITS: The Game Changer for Future Mobility”. It was the largest event dedicated to intelligent transport systems and smart mobility in Europe and it attracted participants from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, including policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and practitioners. The congress hosted 83 exhibitors and demonstrators. EXA4MIND was one of them.
The coordinator of the EXA4MIND project, Jan Martinovič, and his colleague from IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center, Kateřina Slaninová, were among the exhibitors promoting EXA4MIND, its objectives, developments, milestones and next steps to get its main goal: Building a platform for extreme data that enables advanced data analytics on supercomputers and automated data management.
The ITS European Congress 2023 welcomed 2,500 participants from 59 countries, showcasing the latest innovations and solutions in the fields of connected and automated vehicles, multimodal transport, urban mobility, traffic management, data, cybersecurity, and more. It featured a rich programme including 4 plenaries and 113 technical sessions, interactive workshops, and offered attendees networking and social events.
