EXA4MIND at the Data Week 2023

The Data Week 2023, the annual conference for data enthusiasts, professionals and researchers, took place from 13 to 15 June at Lulea, Sweden. The event attracted participants from Europe, who gathered to share insights, innovations and best practices in the field of data science, analytics and engineering. The conference featured a rich and diverse program covering topics such as data ethics, data governance, data quality, data visualisation, data literacy, data storytelling, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and more.

One of the highlights of the conference was a session titled “Are current infrastructures suitable for extreme data processing? Technologies for data management”. The coordinator of the EXA4MIND project, Jan Martinovič from IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center was among the speakers who contributed to the session and took this opportunity to introduce the project.

The session analysed the suitability of current infrastructures for extreme analytics and provided insights into the ongoing work in the field. The present speakers introduced specific tools and technologies of various projects such as the Graph-Massivizer, DataCloudenRichMyData and EXA4MIND which were also discussed with the present audience.
